Hey Guys! I’ve got a question/problem. I was screwing with my interior lights on my 97 RS. I put a green bulb in the dome light above back seat. It kept blowing the fuse. So being a dummy I put a higher amp breaker in it. I could kick myself for doing it. Anyway, now I have no lights inside the car other then the dash. I have a feeling that I fried something, but I have no idea what. I put a new fuse in and nothing. I took a voltmeter to the wire coming from the fuse box and I get nothing, same with all the lights.

Now my question is…. Is there a dimmer panel or something in the line before it makes it to the lights? I was going to hard wire the light, but I don’t want to do more damage. Any ideas guys? Thanks for your help!

Check for any fried wires. Not sure if this car has any other fuse before the lights fuse. Get a wiring diagram somewhere and trace the wires and fuses.
