I have a 67 SS 350 with a 69 Z-28 dual plane intake, Double hump heads, Hedman headers, unilite ignition system hydraulic cam, 10.5 to 1 compression. Basically a mild small block with a TH-350 Transmission. I am contemplating putting a blower on the motor for street driving and a few stop light encounters now and then. Think this motor can handle a 6-71 with 6lbs of boost??? I will change the heads to larger chambers to lower the compression ratio. Anyone else running a mild blower setup on the street?

7 to 8 to 1 forged Blower pistons, better heads and a blower cam should do you nicely for starters...

Yes, your compression is too high for a blower. My bossman just built a 350 with a 6-71 for his 67 Camaro and he is running 8:1 pistons with a set of well worked dart iron eagle heads. Make sure you have a stong rotating assembly that can handle the pressure of forced induction. Cam selection is critical, so research well.
