Anyone running a spacer, if so :how tall, 2 or 4 hole, phenolic or aluminum, and with what intake? I have a 2'' 4 hole alum. on a Vic Jr intake and want to know what do yall think would be better for my combo.. Thanks bros................Patrick

I'm running a 1" open phenolic spacer on a Victor Jr. manifold. I tried a 1" 4 hole initially but it didn't work as well. If I had enough hood clearance I would try 2". Open spacers are usually better for high rpm power by providing a larger plenum.

I'm running a 1", 4 whole aluminum spacer on a victor jr with my big block. I even think Edelbrock recommends running a spacer. But like Steve stated, open spacers are for higher rpm's and four whole spacers are to help low end torque.

My machine shop recommended the 4 hole to give my car some bottom end but the darn thing revs so high (4500stall) i dont know if it's doing any good. I think i'll just play around with some spacers to see if i can tell a difference.

Most single plane intakes are designed to be run with at least a 1" open spacer unless the spacer was intentionally cast into the manifold (i.e. #2996). A 2" open spacer frequently works the best.
