Has Anyone Ever Seen A 272 Block With The Date Code On The Back Behind Distributor.i Have A 272 Dated Jan 2 And Its On The Side Of Block.chevrolet By The Numbers Book States From Jan 7-mar 17 There At The Back Of Block. I Also Been Told Gm Never Put Date On Back Until July Or Aug. Any Info Would Be Appreciated Because Now I Am Confused Whether I Have Correct Block In My Car With Allthis Stamping Going On.............thanx
