I have what looks like a RS car. Title says 67. It has wing vents in the doors. frt fenders have marker lights, and hide away headlights. Vin is 124378N332xxx. It has a nice fat chrome strip on top of door next to the door glass and to RR qtr window.It has rear square backup lights, but the square holes in frt splash panel are for bumper mounts? On the firewall tag beside trim it has #719. How can I tell if this is a real RS or just a clone? It has a sm v8(i dont think original) and I think a 10 bolt rear end. Automatic car too. How would ya know the engine size too (it has 327 badges on it)Thanks KennyG

Kenny, welcome to Team Camaro, start off by posting your VIN numbers and the complete Cowl tag information next to the brake booster on the firewall. If its truely a 67, wing window suggests it is, the cowl tag will give most of the info. that the car came with from the factory. If you have photos of it that is even better. Also look for VIN numbers on the tranny and get the axle codes as well. Info. on where they are is visible at www.camaros.org :)

First thing I see that triggers a bad feeling is the VIN is for a 68. Where is the VIN located? Dash or door jam? Side marker lights do not belong on a 67, neither does the chrome on top of the door. Are there side marker lights on the rear quarter also or just the front fenders?

Sounds like a 68 with 67 doors. Do the reverse light holes look like a factory cut or hack job?

Help! I tried to put on some photos but no go. How does one attach photos?Im new and stupid.I hit the insert image icon and it just says "enter text to be formatted" . Im used to browsing for a photo and selecting it. kennyG

You have to have the photos already hosted on the internet; like at a photo hosting site: Photobucket.com, cardomain.com, imageshack.com are a few. Then you just link the photo to your post.
