Just wondering what the starting Fisher number for the L cars was. I have seen cars with numbers in the tens of thousands but never one this low. Does this look correct to you guys? The tag build date and the vin date are well within the proper range.

I have an early LOS camaro, number 3,225 off the line. Here is my tag with 103 Body.

I'm Guessing that they started at 001 for each body type, convertible or coupe.

Do you have a vin# for this car and a picture of the cowl tag?

thanks for the reply Daniel. I am currently working in NY for the next 1-1.5 weeks so I will have to try to post the tag when I get back home. The vin# when compared to the CRG date list is a nice match for the fischer tag.

My brother and I own a small logistics company that has given us the financial ability to start restoring 60's vintage muscle cars. We currently have 4 camaros in process, 2 67s and 2 68s . One of the 67s is vin # 7L100016,
body number 001. The LOS Fisher Body scheduling code is P001.
It was last titled in Amarillo Tx.

How can I find out what the earliest surviving Vin #s are?
