I am installing a Mallory Unilite ignition on my 68 327. I have looked at all brands of wires and would like to buy the Summit brand because of price!! Are these good wires or should I look at something else. Recommendations??
Thanks :beers:

I do not know how good the Summit wires are, but I do know Summit is offering special pricing on the 8mm MSD brand right now. I think they are actually cheaper than Summits.

If your not in a hurry look at ebay. I got my msd wires brand new in the box for $51 shipped to me. You can't beat that price!!!

You can get a 25' roll of MSD Super conductor 8.5mm red wire for $35, black for $36. 9 MSD Grey HEI boots & terminals for <$10 and 9 MSD Grey spark plug boots & terminals for another <$10. $55 for a high end set of wires + handling. The MSD mini stripper/crimper works great for assembly, uses a vise, I have one that came with an old wire set but Summit sells them for $4.88.
Just another option, saves a little.

So it looks as though the masses think the MSD wires are the best? No one using the Summit wires?

MSD wires are no better than the other companies wires as long as you compare the "Spiral Core" type. They are all good from copanies like: Moroso, Mallory, Accell, Taylor and Jacobs.
JMO I have tried them all!
My choice comes down what color I want to run for the engines I build. :D
And one more thought, MSD stuff is now "Hecko en Mexico"
