I just bought this 69 Camaro. I need help decoding it.

From the looks of the car it is a "base" car. It has the bowtie emblem on the rear panel.

It has a colume shift, ac, tilt wheel, shoulder belts.

No motor or trans. 10 bolt rear end.

X11

I can PM the VIN if needed.

07A = assembled first week of July.
TR 712 = custom black bucket seats.
50 B PNT = Dover White with black vinyl top.
X11 - base car with style trim.

If the 10 bolt axle is original it was most likely a base car.

steve you can post the VIN here as well, its picked up by the folks at www.camaros.org who frequent here as well as a few other TC members that track VIN and Cowl tag data to help keep everyone honest.

Post or PM me the VIN. Always worth checking to make sure it matches....
