Can someone help me out here? I have a 69 396 350hp manual. I contacted Recarbco in LA for a 7029215 quadrajet. They sent me a 7029201; which apparently is for the 396 325hp manual. Is this one going to work right, or is it metered smaller?? - any help would be appraciated.

My paper shows same pri jet 71 and same pri rod 45 but the 201 uses a BC sec rod and the 215 uses an AX. The BC is .1355-.1089-.0584. The AX is .1342-.0964-.0400. The AX is quite a bit a richer rod than the BC but there is not that much difference between the motors. I would take it apart and see what is really in it before you do anything.
