Anybody ever use one in a 283 motor or maybe a 307??

Just wondering is all.

Spec's are; 248/194, 109/109, .450" lift and it is a hy-cam.

Used one in a 390 Ford (old tow vehicle) Didn't help the gas mileage any and actually had less bottom end than the early truck cam that was in the motor before.

I bet that 390 truck motor cam was one little-bitty cam!!

Probably like the old base 396 motor's .398"/.398" lift jobber...

It was the 65 352 truck cam. Had 24in of vacuum at idle and was done at 4000rpm but the truck had 3.50 gears with a T-85 OD. The cruise RPM was 1200 in OD.
