Some genius at work decides to spray paint at work on a breezy day. 8 vehicles were overprayed with epoxy based paint, mine included.
The company assumes responsibility and is willing to make things right with us, but has no clue as to who or where we should go to have this work done. Neither do we. Some of the people we talked to already mention the claybar after a chemical wash.
My concerns are: what is the BEST method for removing this from the paint?
The plastic? The rubber trim?
I am familiar with the claybar, but what is this chemical wash and how will it affect the plastic and rubber? Would the claybar alone be adequate? What about wetsanding with a couple coats of clear? I'm not too hip on a repaint as the truck is only 2 years old, and I think a quick repaint would look worse.
I also don't want it just buffed off. I've seen this done and it is unnacceptable for me.
My vehicle is a metallic grey Tundra.
