Always appreciate looking at that car, thanks Jeff.

Wasn't one of the original names GM had for the Camaro named "Panther"?

graemlins/beers.gif That makes 2 of us. But I know my odds of winning the state lottery are better than finding one of these laying around. Especially where I'm at.
But in & around Canada..... maybe, just maybe.

I love this car & would off every vehicle I have to own one. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Stevo you have a nice collection, more incentive, I really have to look hard now. I knew there was a reason I was put in Toronto. ;)

The black car above was for sale last year. The owner told me that he thought it was worth $200,000! I know the whereabouts of 2 others, but neither is for sale. :(

Well, that's 3 of them. Wonder how many are left? Anyone have an idea?
Probably no registry on these cars. I know it was posted once how many were made, I think. Would be nice to know how many survived.
Also, how many are still out there but painted a different color or modified beyond recognition?

Wonder, wonder, wonder. It will most likely be a forever unanswerable question.
LOL :D

If I was ever going to clone a car, it would be this one. Hmmmm, what about the 67 race car? It's not chopped up. Hmmmmm. Something to think about. smile.gif

They probably didn’t sell many in the US because of the name. In 1967 there was a controversial political organizations called The Black Panthers that practiced militant self-defense of minoritys against the U.S. government, and had fights with the police and FBI.

Oh yeah. I remember the Black Panthers well. I'm originally from the San Francisco bay area. They were popular over here. (I'm being sarcastic of course.) I never would've equated the 2 but I see your point. Makes sense. Too bad. :(

Sorry, I forgot one...there is actually 4 that I know have survived. One is in the US and is Trans Am raced ('67 Z) the others are in Ontario but not shown often. I've tried to buy one of them for years, but the owner just won't sell!
