I have a 68 with a 454 and currently have an allum radiator (Afco) and thinking about changing it out to a BE COOL. The change is for cosmetic purposes. Does anyone have a BE COOL and if so do you like it. Did it fit as they advertise? Thanks

I've got a BeCool in my 67. It looks and fits great!!! Bolted right in, no problem. I got mine from Pace Performance Parts. :beers:

I've since removed that ugly stock radiator mounting bracket.

Yeah, they fit fine and work very well.
I bought the unpolished version with trans cooler, and polished it myself. Also used the Spal dual 11" fans, and a recovery bottle from Billet Specialties. The neck was damaged, (because of that) I got a deal on it, and welded a piece of aluminum tubing and a -4 fitting.
I'm using a remote trans filter.

I have a Be-Cool and twin Spal fans and can say it is the best money I have spent on my car so far.

I am not sure what prices are on the Be Cool, but I have been looking into a radiator from Ron Davis Radiators www.rondavisradiators.com. They have a very very good rep and a lot of big names use their product. A lot of NASCAR drivers and even Jesse James...probably cost a bit more, but I know they have an excellent product and if you are going to spend this kind of money converting to an aluminum radiator, you may as well go with quality. I got a quote from them for the radiator, fan, and shroud and it was like $850...might be a bit more than I want to spend, but they do offer a "universal" radiator that is a lot cheaper and they said they would even weld the brackets on to fit the Camaro and all I would need to do is drill holes. I am thinking it was like around $400 for this universal radiator...
