I know this has probably been ask before but, I have a 67 RS coupe and this can be proven by the trim tag I guess. And I know that RS was pretty much just an appearance package, how can I determine if the car was an SS? It is a factory 4spd small block but all is missing there is a 12 bolt under the car that Idid not code yet and it is mono leaf, this is where I get more confused Ive been told there was never a SS built with a mono leaf and Ive read in 67 Camaros all had mono leaf. What are other clues I could look for? Thanks

camhead68,

The SS option is also on the Trim Tag. An SS 350 would have a "4P" stamped on the tag. However, the "4P" could also mean a L30/M20 car, depending on when your car was built. Let us know the VIN and the info on the Trim Tag and we can tell you more.
