I want to replace my original 1968 carpet. I have read where the ACC brand fades badly. Does anyone know if they have corrected their fading problem? What other brands are there? I just read a thread that said Trim Parts Carpet was good but NOT warrantied against fading. Also, what is the best underlayment to use? This car is a nice driver so it does not have to match all the original details? I have heard that Dynamat is good? Thanks!

I've always used the ACC brand, mostly black,..no problems with fading, but all my cars are stored indoors. The fit is fantastic which makes the job very simple. Perhaps the drivers of drivers will have input with regard to fading.

I've also had good luck with ACC.

My ACC faded in about 2 years. I have driver, that sits outside alot. Fit is good and heal pad in sorta crummy and pulling up. I say this carpet will last about 5 years max and after that it will need replacing. I am going on 4 years and the fading looks really bad, but the over condition is ok.

I am told that Carpet from Trim Parts is better from the dye end of things and is supposed to last longer. After mine gets out of paint prison and I put the interior togehter I going to buy Trim Parts carpet.
