I just bought a 97' camaro 5-speed V6 with the Y87 performance package. I belive the syncro in second gear may be worn out or broke. When shifting into second from first, unless i shift really slow and let the rpm's drop it'll grind like crazy. Also, my VIN reffers to the car as a RS...their is no RS body kit on the car.
