Trying to get clutch linkage lined up and taking measurements
Need to Know what the difference between SB and BB z-bars.
Need overall demensions of and arms too.
Have BB in car and making sure that z-bar is correct.
Taking out Lakewood bellhousing and going to replace with stock one.
Have had problems with clutch releasing and getting rid of lakewood.
I am thinking that BB is longer sideways because of engine offset??
I am going to need 11 bellhousing too. If anyone has or knows were to find.

I think this is right!!

A SB Z-bar is 9" long and a BB Z-bar is 9.75" long...

Anyway, if you want to do a search, I have posted measurements off both of mine here a while back.

I measured it and was around 9 3/4 inches.
It makes sence that the BB is longer between engine and frame.
Thank,s

They moved the BB over towards the pass. side right at an inch for exhaust to power steering gearbox clearance is all!

I "think" you should be able to install a BB using the SB stuff and use the SB Z-bar, but you will have to use stock cast-iron exhaust manifolds b/c headers will be a real pain.. AND it will probably still be tight.......

When I installed my hopped up 409 "W" motor in my car I did it this way. Sucker looked like it came from the factory with it in my car!! Love those big chrome "W" valve covers to this day!!
