i need a new clutch fork boot for my 77 -z... in the parts book they list different numbers for camaros and novas and such...is there really a difference or can i just buy whatever they have in stock?

Are they talking about the Push Rod Seal or the Housing Boot ???
As far as I know almost every early model takes the same #3993851 (Group 0.797) Boot.
The Rod Seals were different for many models - a 70's Camaro would most likely be #3973089 but, I could be wrong...

its the housing boot,i was thinking the same thing..most all smb chevys have the same bell housing and therefore should take the same boot...i only hope its that simple.
