Just back from our family gathering for Christmas at my daughters home in Arizona and thought I'd hit the site to see what was happening. And when the mesaage board prompted so many responses to a thread had to check it out. Welcome aboard to our new member and happy holidays to all the others and hopefully everyone had a good holiday. Thank You for taking the time to say welcome...I appreciate it.

If you have a passion for Camaros, as most of us do, you will surely learn more from this site than any other. Please take the time to hit the other areas when you have an issue with your car, and remember the search mode is great. I would venture to say that any problem you may have with your car has been addressed here at some point in time.

Hey Beth, you say you hang out at Byron and the Grove huh. I race up at byron alot, this past year I only had the Camaro out once and blew the trans., so after that I wasn't out there until I had my Vega done. Now don't go laughing at a Vega this one has a small block and ran 9:20's with out tuning on it and boy were the wheels up in the air. I usually hang out with Mr. Wonderful who runs outlaw superstock, wondering if I ever met you???????If not most likely will the upcoming season or maybe at the drag expo. at Pheasant Run later in Jan.

Yeah I enjoy the Grove And Byron, I may even have pics of your car and don't even know it's you. Yeah I go to the Expo EVERY year, I'm always LQQking for new toyz..I would NEVER laugh at your VEGA, I have seen a few Quick ones in my time !! ;)

Beth, when you're up at Byron this coming season stop by and say hi if you see my Vega, it's a 77, tubbed, and is Bright Tangerine. I'm very hopeful to get the car to run solid 8:80's this year. I know I could run faster with a big block, but there's something about doing it with a small block. I'm also planning on going to route 66 early, I need to get my license for NHRA next, I just hate racing out there cause you just can't get many runs in, especially for what they charge for you to get in and run. Maybe I'll see ya at the expo.

Jeff I will keep my eyes open for ya, I hear ya about 66 it's a pain in da A$$ to race there. I have many thing's to say about there Tech's but I will be good and you are lucky to get 4-5 runs in if that. Byron is more laid-back I am there more than 66. I also agree with yer comment about the small block, I have seen MANY people spend big bucks for there BIG BLOCKS only to turn around and get spanked by a SMALL BLOCK, ya have to admit that's a Hoot !! Don't get me wrong I love those BIG BLOCKS but some of the SMALL BLOCKS out there these day's are HOOKIN N BOOKIN just fine!!...I have no clue what ya look like so hard to say I may see you at the Expo, but if ya see me by all means stop n say hi if ya like...
