Hello again. I have some problems with my 86 Camaro. Firstly when im driving along and i hit the gas pedal the engine starts to cough and splutter and has no acceleration any ideas? Also as I previous asked I have no heating in the car just had a look under the bonnet and there is a pipe with nothing attached to it its is located on the left side of the engine(as you look at it) down near where the shocks are I have pictures but dont know if or how to upload them? Thanks for any help.

86?? Is it the TPI, or carb? If it is the carb then your problem might be that you are running too rich. Does the car smoke at all when you mash the pedal in park? As for no heat, i wouldnt know how to upload pics but i think you might be talking about the heater hose, but it should go through the firewall... Anyways you might want to check your heater core. Anyways i hope it all works out for you :)

Hi yeah it is a TPI engine and also looking under the bonnet it does seem to be missing a hose that come out from the firewall to a pipe near where the shocks are. Thanks for you help.
