I have a 2001 Coupe and I recently ran into problems with my aftermarket equipment because the Monsoon system- I was informed that was what was previously in it- was wired oddly. Does anyone know what exactly WAS in my car off the lot? I know it had 6 speakers, 2 door, 2 seat, and 2 hatch. Where is the amp that comes with the system? Are there any wiring diagrams online that I can get a hold of? Does Monsoon have a website I can visit to learn about this stuff?

hey wassup bro, i got a 2001 black Z-28 also. Im really sure what is in your car is how it came off the line when it was made. Thats how mine is too, its got the monsoon tape and am/fm head-unit, with 6 speakers, two on the door, two rear seat side panel, and two in the back. Im also sure that the amp is in the deck, and if you want to replace the speakers just replace the them by how the wires go into the speakers, red/black from the tweeter and red/black from the woofer goes to their other. thats what im doing, im currently looking for a website that has specs for the monsoon wiring.
