Okay folks,
I'm converting my '67 vert from a 3 speed saginaw to a 4 speed Muncie(M20). I bought the transmission and will be getting ready to break it down. I know that there is a possibility that I'll need a rebuild kit and more. Any recommendations on where or who to buy muncie part from. Thanks again!

Perhaps you could try shooting an email over to JodysTransmissions@verizon.net Im sure he can get you what you need or let you know where to go, he knows his muncies!
I use D&L transmission, although I rarely speak with Larry, he has always given me great prices on parts and ships quickly. Check out www.muncie4speed.net

After 30 or 40 years, there will probably be a lot of wear and tear in there. Some of it may be very apparent but some wear may only be picked up by a practiced eye. Take it to someone who really knows Muncies.

I would recomend a complete master rebuild kit for any original Muncie. Even if it a 1974 transmission, it is still over 30 years old and probably has a lot of miles on her.
