Ok, this is not a camaro question but here goes.

Does anyone have any information on comfortron systems? Any manuals/info is really appreciated. I have -79 caprice classic with comfortron auto-a/c, and can't figure it out without wiring diagrams/manual. Is there a shop manual/diarams on these systems at all? I haven't found any information online.

You need to get the factory service manuals. Faxon auto literature has them. This is a rare option that many people have trouble fixing. I worked on a few of these at the GM dealers in the last 30 or so years.

The Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual has an entire chapter on the Comfortron system. :thumbsup:

By the way, any specific manual you are talking about? The car is a 79 caprice, but basically many cars for many years had the comfortron option. I just would like to get the one with a chapter full of info, the system is a PAIN!
