Question for you all with the 69 Covan panel in place. Does the passenger side flap around or move and gap? I just received mine, and I was a little surprised it doesn't have any tabson the passenger side like the factory. I can drill the two holes on the driver side to screw it to the dash and attach the dashpad, but I'm just curious about how the passenger side moves (if it does)? Seems the General wouldn't have bothered with those two mounting tabs/bolts if they weren't really necessary.

While I'm asking, how does the driver corner of the dash pad fit? Becuase there's a little recess on the factory housing that is not present on the Covan, I'm just curious how the pad "sits" in that area.

By the time it's screwed in top and bottom, heater controls in, and radio (if used) it will be ok. The dashpad holds it in too on the RH side.

The Covan for 69 fits ok, but it might take some redrilling and moving around some.

It's not going to be perfect.

I've done two, and if I can help, let me know.
