In 1989 my father bought me my first car, a 1968 Camaro. I owned the car for 15 years. The car was in pieces for several years and finally a couple of years ago I decided to sell it.(doh!!) I new I would regret it and it didn't take as long as I had hoped. I sold the car to a man in or near Greensboro NC.( I think). His son was 14 at the time and he said they were going to fix it up by the time he was 16. Supposedly he owned a body shop and had done this kind of resto before. As sad as it is I have the VIN# memorized.

LeMans Blue / Medium Blue standard interior. Still had the original 230 and 3 in the floor when I bought it.(lasted about a year). I can't carfax it because it is too old. If anyone knows how to search an older vin through DMV or by some strange chance you know or run across this car please let me know.

Actually DMV can run any VIN#. All I need to do is find a contact with NCDMV.

Any police officier can do the same. Just have to find one that will.
