Periodically I see these "deals" on ebay that look tooooo good to be true. I mean, if I thought I could really really go & get this car for $5000.00, I'd be there in no time. Do y'all think this is some kind of a scam or what? :) Last week there was a fully blown hard top cherried out to the max for some ridiculous low price.

Definitely a scam... the paint alone on that thing is worth more than that. I reported it to ebay, hopefully it gets removed before someone gets suckered. I hate to think people are falling for these scams, but with the frequency they're popping up, I don't know....

Yeah, yeah,..you and 10 others would buy this car for $5000,..and I'd bet this car isn't owned by the seller. Ask to see the car in person,..see what happens.

Ya think the scammers on ebay would at least wise up a bit and come up with prices that seem at least somewhat reasonable. The prices are so ridiculous and out of line, everyone knows their a scam.

How does the scam work? Did this guy (the seller) steal the other person's feed back history (with a good rating) & then list the car? This "seller" wanted everyone to email him before biding. Is there something going on with getting a lot of people's email addresses?

You e-mail the scammer direct leaving ebay out of the deal, he offers you the car at a great price and asks you to send him a nice deposit. He gets your and as many others money, nobody gets the car and the guy does it all over again with someone elses hacked profile and a new e-mail address...
