I am interested in finding tips on cleaning and detailing the underhood areas on my Camaro. Everything is restored but dusty etc from driving. Do you have any cleaning tips? What cleaning solutions, Fantasitc, Windex, armoral, work best? Wipe type rags, Q-tips, toothbrushes, rags, other tricks?

When mine gets too dirty (not very often) I use the automotive simple green and just spray it liberally in the engine compartment, let it set for a few minutes, then rinse it all off with low pressure water hose. Wipe off all the chrome and it's usually good to go. The biggest thing is NOT to just keep putting it off and continuing to let it build up. I usually wipe my whole car, inside and out including under the hood after every time I drive it. Better to stay up with it then to let it go and build up on ya :thumbsup:
