Checked my dome light today and found that the base was melted. Took the bulb out and one of the clips broke. Looked in the parts books and can only find a complete harness. Does anyone sell just the bulb clips? If I have to buy a harness I don't want to get into the headliner to connect it. Seems like alot of money to just cut the clips off the new harness. Any Ideas besides not leaving the door open to long.

Unless it's a daily driver, I'd leave the bulb out.

I imagine if you contacted the Factory Fit people (they make very nice reproduction wiring harnesees, etc.) directly, they could hook you up pretty cheap. Here's their URL: http://www.americanautowire.com/products/factory_fit.cfm

Was at boaters world and found a LED courtesy light. Low heat and rated at 200,000 hrs! Installed it in the reproduction dome assembly and works. doesn't get hot so you can have the doors open with out the chance of the base melting. You think the car will last as long as the Bulb? This will work for now.
