I still have the orginal hood insulation, it's in good condition, except it needs cleaning. Any ideas on how to clean, and what to use?

Wow, isn't that neat!!! It's so fragile, very few make it. I wonder if you can spray it with a carpet cleaner and carefully dab it dry with paper towels or rags?

Maybe you can take it off and try to remove just a thin top layer and then reinstall it reversed with the old protected side now showing...or just reverse it...good luck...Mike

My hood insulation was frayed and dirty. I thought about gently vacuuming it and spraying it with a clear adhesive to glue the loose material back down, but decided to replace it with a repop piece. The repo insulation is a little different but it fits good and looks nice.

I thought about a repop but shipping to Michigan is around $150.00. Not trying to be cheap but I am spending a small fortune this winter. New sheet metal, paint etc.

You can't reverse it, because the "innies" would become "outies"
