'69 Camaro 'vert...tucked away for many, many years to be trailered south to GA and returned to GLORY!

The DAY is drawing near!

Wife, son and I depart to northern VA next week (27 Dec) from Warner Robins, GA.

Da plan...pick up the new family member and best freakin' Christmas present a 40 year old school boy could dream. Also, do some skiing (want to laugh... watch southern folk ski!)

The deal...body off...thus, need some advice from the TeamCamaro experts. Looking for a superior media blasting/body/engine shops in the southeast. What y'all think?

I will post VIN #'s, pics, etc around the 2nd or 3rd of Jan when we return.

A very joyous Merry Christmas to all.

Hey Surfone7,
When you heading out?? I am in Knoxville,Tn. and head to Allentown, Pa on the 27th also.
I will be going up I-81 all the way to Pa. I am taking 1 of my Pace Cars to its new owner and also picking up a 69 Camaro rally-sport that has been in hiding for the last 20 years to replace this one while im up there. Also going to see Bill Wood for a couple of days...
Weather doesnt look like it going to factor much trouble at all for this trip.

Hey Chuck,

Cruising out about noon driving straight thru to Warrenton, VA. Oh yeah...weather is looking tame for those next few days, definately decent for the driving. Good luck on your trip to Allentown and may that RS be all you want her to be!

Thanks MytMini...nothing cooler than a drop top on a 1st gen!

Track Rat...when I get the VIN...I'll post all the stats...soon :)

Merry Christmas All!

I just moved from W/R and had my BB Pace in and out of several Body shops as far north as Marietta and far south as Albany GA. I can put you in touch with a guy in Moultrie that does Concourse to Pro touring class and does nothing but 69's. His cars have been in several Hot Rod Mags and has sold some in the 100,000 +. I know I should have taken mine there from the beginning. Let me know,

Tom
