Thinking about a 69 RS convertible and putting in a 572 crate motor, 620 HP @ 5500 rpm and 650 pds of torque @ 4500 rpm.
The question is what trans. and rear end to go with?
Mostly street driven with the occasional 1/4 mile.
Frame strengthening?
Suspension?
What do you recommend?
All input is greatly appreciated.

Depending on how hard you plan on hooking it up at the track (slicks?) your gonna need frame connectors as well as a good 12 bolt rearend w/aftermarket axles to be on the safe side, 572 will break a 10 bolt axle like a pretzel after many launches, been there done that, transmission could be a beefed up turbo 400 or a nice racing powerglide will get the job done.
