I was wondering if I should try to see if any of you "numbers" guys need it??? I have a "no numbers" car and I am only concerned w/strength and performance. There is no need for me to thrash this tranny.. I am willing to pass it along to some one who needs it if I can get closer to a newer stronger one??..... Central Florida...

Does it have a VIN on it?

I just went and checked it out, looks like no vin. Numbers are... P0727 located vertically , bottom to top on the main box, pass side in the rear seam. # 3851325 located Pass side main case in the center L to R. Please pass on any info??.. I just "heard" early trannys bolted up the shift rods w/nuts and speedo location matches up....Thanks!...
