I did a search for this, but most of the threads were pretty old. Is anyone making a replacement diaphram for a 67 washer pump. I took mine apart today, and the daphram was ripped, and very dry rotted. Thanks.

If you plastic is good, go to the "help" section of your local parts store, they should have a kit with the diaphram and o-rings. Repro houses have them too.

No luck at the help section. They have the plastic parts and the o-rings, but diaphram. Ricks, Classic and Year One do not list the diaphram either.

I bought a repro pump, it was complete junk. Didn't look like the original nor could I get it to attach to the wiper motor....

So I took it apart and found that the diaphram and the plate with the check valves would fit on the original pump, works real good now!

Since I do not plan to ever drvie this car in the rain, maybe I'll just put it back together so at least it looks functional. My first 67 had a bad pump too, and I just ran an in-line pump instead of fixing that one. Ran it like that for years. If I need to add a pump later, I can always conceal it so only the guys reading this thread will ever know. :) I want everything on the car to function as it should, so maybe I'll run across a pump at a swap meet sometime, and just bolt it on.

Does it have a large cup shaped diaphram? If so, I purchased one from Clock Doc. I don't remember how much I paid. I think something like $35 or $40.

Yes it does. 35.00, ouch. I'd pay it though. I can't have my car sitting there with only half of the stuff working. :)

Update. I found a repair kit for a 63-67 Corvette washer pump, which included the bellows (diaphram) on Ebay. I paid 16.00 for the kit, which was an exact fit. Just in case anyone wanted to know. The piece of plastic to which the hoses are connected are not the same as the Camaro, so either save your old one, or get the Autozone (or other parts house) repair kit (5.99) and give your pump that nice, clean restored look. This was a lot less expensive than getting a repop pump, or trying to find one that was in better shape than my current one.
