In reading several posts about cleaning brake lines. A couple people mentioned using a cup brush. What kind of brush and did they use any cleaner? I would like to keep my stock lines and clean the lines that are seen under the hood. These are the lines with the spring around them. Pictures of the cup brush or other tricks would be great. Thanks

cup brush are actually wire wheel type brushes on a stem that fits a drill. The cups are shaped differently to your choice, small to large as well in the drill bit section of your hardware store. I used steel wire cup brushes of all sizes in grinding crud off my frame and parts. I then follow up with the brass wire wheel that fine tunes a surface too.
Ace, Home Depot, Menards etc all carry them. cheap and easy to use but you MUST wear eye protection, those wires break loose and go like a rocket in all directins.

As Jim stated above, PLEASE use safety glases, AND wear a thick shirt with long sleeves. Those darn little wires are like tiny missiles.
