Just curious as to how you guys find "parts cars"? Do you scavenge thru junkyards or what?

I would love to find something that i could salvage some pieces/parts for my 67 somewhere.

Do junkyards let you walk the lot and pick an entire car? I have a friend with a rollback that could pick it up if I found one.

Anyone in central Florida with a first gen. parts car thay want to get rid of?

I do not even think there is such a thing as parts car anymore as many repo parts as they make these days if someone wants to fix a car there is enough repo parts there to build a car now.

no such thing as a parts car they are all fixable, there arent that many of them left!!!!

just type in Z/28 on Zbay and all the parts cars will come up

My brother and I bought a 69 rs convert parts car several years ago for $400.
It was a real basket case, but still was able to get parts off of it for us and still sell enough to pay us back the price of the car.
It;s true that any car can NOW be restored and if the car had the trim plate on the fire wall, this could have been a nice LONG TERM project.
