I just installed brand new preassembled PUI door panels and rear window panels. For some reason on both sides the chrome trim is not in line between the door panel and the rear window panel. With the door closed, the chrome trim on the doors is about 1 inch off from the trim on the rear panels. Anyone have this same problem? Pictures of your interior would be really help full.

Are you sure you have them properly nestled into place? If so, contact your supplier, he will probably replace them. Ask him to align the panels to check trim alignment before sending the replacements.

I just checked my pristine originals on my 69, and the rears are about 1/4" lower than the fronts.

I checked the attachment at the top and it look very good. Both the door panels and the 1/4 panels tops are inline and yes the doors are aligned correctly on the car. But the 1/4 panels have ABS plastic, which appears to not have the correct or enough bend added to it. If the bend was a little more, this would cause the side of the panel to go higher and the chrome trim and the window crank hole to line up better. I which the rears would have add metal top rails like the fronts.

Well I'm head up to the place where I bought them to see if the can help before I heat up the plastic and try adding more bend. I will keep you posted and thanks for your help.
