I used 3M's Body panel and seam sealer. Comes in a caulking tube.

What ever you do, do not use 3M's 08505 seam sealer, its junk and out dated. Use a 2 part seam sealer. I used the 3M 08560(08561 is a different color)which is very good, but needs a special gun unless you want to cut the tube open and dip it out with your finger along the seam on your fire wall and then use a scotch brite and smear it on creating that factory look.

I used 3M 8300 and thought it worked out fine. The only thing I would change if I had to do it over again would be to practice a bunch of times on something to get the brush marks down. What ever you choose to use practice with it before doing the final job. You will be grateful you did. Good luck. To get the brush marks try a few different approaches. Scotchbrite pads, paint brushes with the bristles cut back and etc. I did the paint brush and cut the bristles.
