Im putting my car back together (I didnt take it apart so its all new to me) and Im at the point where Ill be putting all the logos back on, it just got some fresh paint. Its a 68 RS/SS, black with white bumblebee stripe. Now comes the confusing part:

front fenders: What do I put there in front of the wheel well? SS? RS? Rally Sport? 386? 396 SS? (even though the car is being put back together with a 427 tall deck....)

I think "Chevrolet" goes on the front header panel right?
Grill: RS? Rally sport? ???
Gas cap?

completely confused on what goes where since every car I see seems to be different!! :)
thanks again all
Bob

68 would have Rally Sport emblem (script) on each fender behind the wheel opening (basically replaces the Camaro script).

Camaro by Chevrolet emblems on header and trunk lid.

RS (vertical bar with RS in center) on grille.

RS gas cap.

Style trim (lower rocker chrome and wheel well moldings).

On a 68, the engine displacement is what goes on the leading edge of each fender.

If the car was an SS, the SS badging overrode the RS, and then we'd have to go through the list again...

look here: http://www.drclassic.com/catalog/Camaro/Emblem/EM0114-B.html
68 gets year specific Camaro script on the front fenders behind the wheel, SS below that, engine displacement numbers in the gap in the bumblebee, year specific Camaro by Chevrolet script on header and deck.
