Has anyone had experience with the dip method of panel prep. I want to use it for the subframe, convertible top mechanism (stripped), hood and trunklid. All are original 1968 and in great shape metal-wise. Is the dip well neutralized? Is paint adhesion good afterward? Anything to ask for?

Anyboby used the guys in Brampton, Ontario?

Cheers

The parts usually come back with an oily coating on them. You will have to remove it. Once that's done, I personally DA the metal with 80 grit, metal prep it and go from there.

I was only concerned since all these parts have hidden ares where I don't want to find residue later. Like oil coming out under paint??
