My car is an original A/C car, and came with all of the components. Compressor had been removed-

Eventually, I'll put the A/C back on, but probably not for a while. I want to take the A/C "suitcase" off of the firewall, and replace it with a heater cover. Are those interchangeable?

I'm going to pull the motor to paint, and I need to replace the heater core-so the box will be a little more accessible.

And finally. Does anybody have an extra Heater based panel?

The A/C firewall is different than non-A/C.

The easiest way to do what you are looking for is to use an American Grafitti (sp?) A/C delete cover. Do a search, there has been some very recent threads on this.

Thanks guy's! Looks like I'll be leaving the suitcase in, however. $50 is easy for a "looks nicer", while $150 is a little worse....

I was hoping I could just buy a used cover on EvilBay. Figures.

Hmmmmmmmm.

Well-I broke down and bought the American Graffiti part.

Any suggestions as to what I should do with the A/C section of the egine wiring harness?
