Can anyone point me to a vendor that has this item? I've looked at DL Classics, NPD and they both have the 67 style. I ordered it hoping it would work but it's too large. The chrome shop wants $250 to re-chrome mine and I have to believe I can get a repro for a lot less. ( If I could FIND one! ) Any ideas? Thanks!

You might try Rick's First Generation Camaros, I had my original rechromed instead of going repop, $250.00 seems a bit high to me for just that 1 item.

Agree. $250 seems high. Suggest you shop it around first for a lower re-chrome price - if an original piece is save-able, always best to go down that path.

I agree that it is better to use the original part. I'll never throw it away, just thought it would be faster and less expensive to go the repro route. Anyone have a link to Rick's?

I called both of these places today too and neither have it. Waiting on my chrome shop to reply when they can have the original done. Anyone here have a very good used one?

My original lid was pretty pitted, so I'm sure that's why the high price. Those lids in black are as common as dirt ( A/C air cleaner 348 ) but I don't even have one of them to give the chrome shop. There ought be zillions of them here! Seems like they are very common even on 4WD trucks from the 70s acording to my fading memory! Any vehicle that takes the 348 air cleaner ought be the same.
