I have a '68 rs with vinyl top and i want to remove because i have rust and now a little hole in the rear side of the vinyl. Is possible remove the vinyl and repaint like the body? Need a lot of work??

To answer your questions... yes and yes. I am in the middle of this debate myself. The vinyl top looks sharp but you have to be certain all rust is stopped. My plans call for media blasting and a good coat of POR15. I love the looks of the vinyl top but I will most likely fill in the holes for molding clips and paint the roof with the rest of the car.
