I have this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.... My girlfriends dad was looking through the paper and saw a 69 camaro z-28 302 4 speed for $2,000 OBO said it had been in storage for 27 years must sell. 1st i thought it must be a typo and it was suppose to be $22,000 not $2,200 so i called and left a message on his phone. Found out he sold the car to the 1st guy that came to see it yesterday afternoon for $2,200. Said the only thing wrong was the trunk was rusty and there was rust around the doors but it ran and drove. GRRR i hate seeing things like that. I paid $1850 for my 68 camaro that had been sitting out in a field for 17 years. It was fully intact the onlything missing was the rear seat and the front windsheild was cracked.

Just venting from frustration. How much would you guys say that camaro was really worth?

The ad was in Indianola, Iowa but i think the car was in northern Missouri

Not trying to compound your feelings of nausea, but if it was all matching #s, ran, and only needed a trunk pan, it was worth an easy $20K IMO, even if it needed a full resto!
