On a 69 Z/28 there are three ports towards the front of the intake manifold that the heater hose barb will fit in. I think the heater hose barb goes in the one that points towards the passenger side fender and the other two ports get pipe plugs. Can someone confirm this or post a picture? Thanks.

Not on a small block. They don't have a by-pass hose. Only the big blocks had the by-pass hose.
