What headers do I need for my 67 camaro that is getting a new 383 with a 4 speed muncie? I really dont want long tube headers. Chrome shorty headers are desireable but I am not sure which ones I need that wont interfere with the xmission assembly.

I was looking at these on ebay. Will they work?

Not likely due to z-bar.

They will not fit the 1967-1969 Camaro with factory air or some A and F body cars with manual transmission.

You're going to hve to use long tube headers if you don't want iron manifolds, unless you have a set of shorty's custom made for you but that's expenive.

I have a 383 and muncie in my car and have hooker super comp ceramic coated. I love em! Why do you want shortys?? Just for looks i assume, i believe the performance of a shorty headed is less than the regulars.
