Hi all. this is the tag from my personal car... Its more of a curiosity since I really dont care if its real or not, but it would be kind of nice to know.
I got the car for literally pennies, and its just what I wanted, so as I say, its not too important to me. Thanks :)

It's fine. No reason to change a 68 tag, Although it does happen as it only tells you the color of the interior and exterior and when the car was made. In your case the tag is real and lines up with the VIN in the dash.

Thank you :) Thats good to know. I realize it doesnt tell you a whole lot unfortunately. There were other indicators to let me know it really was a real RS/SS though. I did not keep it the original color (british green) since when I got it, there was nothing original left to it anyway. No engine, transmission, interior etc. So I built it the way I wanted it and its ben smiles ever since. :)

MX could you please resize those photos for us? They are way to big to see without scrolling and the dial up users have a real problem with such large files too. we recommend 880 x 660 in size for easier use in the forums here. Thanks for posting the tags too. :)
