I am restoring a 67 convertible and I want to restore the A/C. I just bought the complete evaporator case fully restored with original new parts but I need the rest under hood parts, condenser, hoses etc. I want to know if 68 systems are the same.

Please Help

wish i knew, you want my solution ditch the a/c, haha just kidding

my guess would be that they would work (meaning everything would bolt up and opperate), but may not technicaly be correct
but seriously someone here has to know

The indash vacuum controls are slightly different and 67 has an extra electrical component in the indash controls. Also hose routing under hood is different. This could mean the condensor piping for 67 and 68s have different angles.

I suggest you get both 67 and 68 assembly manuals and try and compare before you buy much more ac system. If not, may have to modify electrical wiring if putting 68 in 67 or vice versa.
