In my ever growing scope of work on my 69 I would like to know what you guys use to clean the clear plastic plate on the A/C controls. Mine is not really scratched bad but it has cloudy spots where the black paper was. I tried simple green but that did not take the cloudy areas away. I was thinking maybe toothpaste.

You can buy that clear cover aftermarket from any camaro supplier. The only hard part is tafing the dash pad and dash apart to replace it. When you are done it will look brand new.

Yes, I saw them in the catalog for $ 15.00. I have everything apart now and I gotta draw the line somewhere. I'll replace it later but for now, if someone has a trick to cleaning it up it would help!
