69 Z/28 Exhaust System

Does anyone know if a June1969 Z/28 would have 2” or 2 ¼” exhaust? I’m getting conflicting stories from the Camaro parts houses. Also, does anyone have any ideas for an inexpensive temporary exhaust system? I hate to install the new complete exhaust system until all the bodywork and paint is complete on my car. Thanks.

According to the reprinted brochure I'm holding, it was 2.25" dual deep tone....

What headers did you go with, or are you using stock exhaust manifolds?

The tailpipes are 2", from the muffler back.

I was cool with my stock manifolds, until my wife said your just doesn't sound right when you drive off.....
