I got my new aluminum radiator installed and was wondering if there is such a thing as a cover that goes from the back side of the radiator to the radiator support to cover this area? I have not seen this anywhere, but thought maybe someone has seen these aftermarket or has made one...here is a pic of the area that I am talking about...

Do you mean this sort of thing?...I know that the one for the chevelle- part number 9427- fits on my 68 camaro...with the standard rad, but you might find one of the others would fit?

I don't I'm afraid...just upgraded to an aluminum rad- very similar to your setup. My 68 used to be a six banger ( now 396 Big Block), and had the original rad with a black painted rad cover bolted to the radiator header- exactly like the chrome one for the chevelle referred to above.
It won't fit on mine now- rad sits too high!

Nice looking radiator .. looks vaguely familiar .
yes there are many suppliers of the so called finger guard your looking for you can find some on e/bay also chromed for a reasonable price
By the way Steve that’s a nice looking product you came up with for the section in front of the rad .. I sent that link to a local friend here in Michigan ... hope you sell a lot of them .

Yeah, it should look familar since you sold it to me...LOL...cant wait to see how it cools that monster motor in there...The fit is pretty good and half of what I would have paid for a name brand. I am happy with it so far.
I was not able to find the finger guard for a 1st gen Camaro...only Chevelle...unless that will fit, I am not sure.

I dont like the gap between the radiator and the radiator support...I just think it would finish it off some and make it look a little nicer. I also like the template that kind of finishes the area in front of the radiator support, the one that eville recommended...
